Description
Short
The Narrow Hour is a strategy survival game about a mobile base on a slowly turning planet, where life only fits in a thin band between frost and fire and the band never stops moving.
Long
On this world the safe zone is a strip of twilight that drifts across the surface. Players command a base and its platforms RTS-style, keeping the whole network inside the band while mining the dangerous edges for resources. Everything carried adds mass and slows the network down, and a wide network will not fit when seasons and the Narrow Hour squeeze the band. Refine raw materials, research new technology and protocols, and assemble a ship to leave the planet while meteors, flares, storms, ice fronts and swarms push back.

- A base that moves. Select and order the base and platforms like an RTS and follow the habitable band across the planet.
- Mass and width. Two simple pressures behind every decision: what you carry and how wide you spread.
- Edges worth the risk. Five resources on veins at the frost and fire edges, refined into steel, wafers, chips and hydrogen.
- Research and protocols. Samples, labs, research cards with blueprints and active protocols that change how a run plays.
- A living planet. Seasons, latitude, planet events, ridges, fog, wrecks, points of interest and light fauna.
- Seeded runs. One seed is one reproducible run; daily seed, expedition and sandbox modes.

Tidelock Games is a small independent studio making strategy and survival games for PC. The name comes from tidally locked worlds, where one side burns, the other freezes and life clings to the twilight in between. That is the spirit of our games: tight worlds, real trade-offs and runs worth replaying.
